What Is Speaking Positively?

The Speaking Positively Program raises up the voices of people living with HIV & AIDS, their loved ones, and others who are most closely affected by the epidemic in North Carolina.

Speaking Positively Advocates are a small group of people who commit to sharing their story in order to break silences and influence state policy.  They participate in training that prepares them to be effective advocates for policy and community change, shaping policies and combating stigma across the state.
