Our Mission
to end HIV
in the Carolinas

NOW IS THE TIME TO BREAK BARRIERS AND BUILD THE CAROLINAS WHERE STIGMA IS HISTORY, CARE IS UNIVERSAL AND EVERY PERSON REGARDLESS OF HIV STATUS-LIVES A DIGNIFIED LIFE FULL OF OPPORTUNITY.
THIS IS HOW NCAAN IS making it happen.

We fight
stigma.

Through networks of mutual support, advocacy, and empowerment, we dismantle stigma, discrimination, and misinformation. Our work makes HIV education and healthcare accessible, fact-based, and compassionate for everyone.

Each year we train 100+ community leaders to advocate for accessible HIV resources and services.

We shape
policy.

Across local, state, and federal levels, we build political power by and for people living with HIV. Our network's advocacy expands Medicaid, reshapes sexual health policy, and increases funding for HIV programs and services.

NCAAN has secured 15+ legislative victories, breaking barriers for prevention and healthcare access.

We connect
communities.

We unite a strong network of HIV advocates. By building a base of mutual support and inclusion, our members are empowered to live full lives, become leaders, and mobilize our communities.

NCAAN is a growing network of 1,500+ regional and state advocates and organizations.
